I THOUGHT U COULDNT GROW OLEANDER IN THIS COUNTRY EXCEPT MAYBE IN A GREENHOUSE
I live in the South East, close to the sea, perhaps this helps, but my local village hall grows one in their gardens, & it faces east.
I live on the border of West/North Yorkshire, I have seen these beautiful flowers abroad n also Buganvilia ( I no this is spelt wrong) but dont no if I can grow them here, dont want them 2 spend their time always in my greenhouse tho.
I’m sure in the summer you can bring it out of the greenhouse, but with the Bougainvillea (just looked up spelling) it should be in a warm Conservatory. Good Luck if you buy an Oleander.

In warmer areas, evergreen trees and shrubs can now be moved: make sure the soil is not waterlogged or frozen solid.
I grow a pink flowered one in a large pot outdoors, the perfume is very delicate, with a sort of powdery aroma. New flowers form over the winter but do not blossom till the following summer, so if it’s a cold winter, it comes & lives in the porch, or I wrap it with white fleece. Oh and it likes No 3 Potting Compost Enjoy.
