Spring will soon come! What do you like best about this season? New growth and blooms everywhere? New garden tasks?
At the moment in my garden it is early spring, & the Snowdrops are nodding their heads in agreement with me, some Pansies are in flower as are a few Primroses, and my winter Honeysuckle is now in full bloom (although a little late because of the long cold snap), the Daffodils & Tulips are now showing green above the earth.
It to the adds to the excitment of it all as the sap slowly starts to rise.
Get out there & have a look, you’ll be surprised.

Whoa, not quite yet. Even in the greenhouse. Vigorous active growth depends on letting the days lengthen enough so the fuchsias can keep growing strongly after repotting. And the best time really depends on latitude. In the meantime,It’s only January 6 so keep patient and let the fuchsias rest a bit longer. Outdoor fuchsias stored away for the winter should be left until most danger of frost is past before they’re cut back, repotted and returned outside.
