Why not plant some bare rooted trees this month? November is a great month to do that.
Make sure to remove all pest and disease infested plant material in your garden.
Although you can wait until November to plant tulip bulbs, you could also plant them now.
Start to plant autumn onion sets this month, make sure you have none left afterwards, they will attract pests.
August is an ideal time to plant up spring flowering bulbs such as daffodils, make sure to fertilize them well.
When you spot yellow coloured water plants you should remove them asap. If they rot it will decrease water quality.
The right plant balance is beneficial for the water, if the pond is in full sun, 50-70% should be covered with plants.
Dry weather is no reason not to plant things in your garden. Simply dig a hole, fill it with water and then plant.
Why not order catalogues for spring flowering bulbs, that way you can easily decide exactly what to plant.
