You can start sowing vegetables such as broad beans, peas and carrots, although the soil has to be prepared beforehand.
Now is the time to sow vegetables like: Leek, Lettuce, Radish, Spinach and Parsnip.
Check again if your stored fruits and vegetables show any sign of decay.
Remember to harvest your winter vegetables such as winter cabbage, parsnips, spinach, chard and the like.
Make sure you store apples and pears apart from your vegetables, they will cause the vegetables to develope off flavors.
Vacant vegetable plots can now be dug over: the approaching cold weather may help to improve the soil structure!
