I moved to Kemnay, Scotland three years ago after living and working in Lyon. Remembering beautiful rosemary bushes, which survived snowy winters year after year on their own, planted just outside our mostly- glass school walls, I planted my own rosemary last year. Not knowing to protect it, only a bit survived, and it hasn’t grown much during the year.
I am planning to put a coir pad around the base of the plant and to wrap the plant in fleece?
Is this correct? Is there anything else I can do to help protect the plant?
